I am a landscape architect in Atlanta, GA. We hired SHM Landscape to implement a design that I drew for a renovation of my parents' backyard. This renovation included medium levels of grading and clearing, hardscape installation, retaining wall installation, a comprehensive drainage system, as well as laying sod. The goal of the project, which was definitely achieved, was to fix an extreme erosion problem as well as be aesthetically pleasing. This company was a pleasure to work with. We initially received a few different quotes for our backyard renovation which included 3 levels of retaining walls, grading, sod, fencing, and a new stone patio. SHM came in way less than everyone else and did a fantastic job. I hired SHM Landscape for a hard scape project as well as some field stone foundation wall repair. We went through several options before settling on one within my budget. Throughout the design and installation, Ryan stayed in touch with me and listened to my concerns. SHM turned a plain concrete stoop and slate chip walkway into a beautiful and inviting entrance to my home. An added benefit was a river rock lined mulch path that looks natural and so inviting.
